Meet Abigail Quansah
I’m grateful for the opportunity to co-author this prayer book with my sisters, Julia and Lois—women God knew I would need in this season. Prayer has shaped every area of my life, especially in marriage, where I’ve learned that inviting God into every detail makes all the difference. Navigating life in a new state with my husband has deepened my trust in God’s plan and strengthened my belief that marriage is not just about love, but about partnership, purpose, and prayer.
I am beyond blessed to be led by my husband, Josiah—a man of wisdom and humility who loves me so tenderly and helps to heal wounds I didn’t even know needed healing. From the moment we first spoke, he has been my peace, my safe place, and my greatest encourager, always pushing me to grow into the woman God has called me to be. His love is a reminder of God’s faithfulness, and I thank God for him every day. By God’s grace, we will celebrate a year of marriage this year
Beyond writing, I’m passionate about serving at my church and youth/young adult ministry, healthcare operations, trying new recipes, event planning, as well as real estate. I love creating spaces—both physically and spiritually—where people can celebrate life’s biggest moments and step into their God-given purpose.
Whether you are waiting, dating, engaged, or married, my prayer is that this book reminds you to seek God wholeheartedly. He can be trusted with your love story, and only He can build a foundation that lasts.
Meet Lois Asemnor-Aboagye
I am honored to be one of the three authors of this prayer book. Writing a book has always been a dream of mine, though I never imagined my first would be about marriage. Yet, I’m grateful that God has given me this opportunity, especially to embark on it alongside my best friends.
I am deeply passionate about therapy and empowering women. As a therapist, I integrate faith-based principles with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help individuals break negative cycles and step boldly into their God-given purpose. Through my work, I’ve come to understand the significance of recognizing generational patterns, how they shape our relationships and, ultimately, our marriages. This insight has strengthened my belief in the power of prayer, particularly when it comes to breaking unhealthy patterns, and that is the perspective I bring to this book.
was a 2023 bride, and by God’s grace, I am celebrating two years of marriage this year. I am beyond grateful for my husband, Johnson, who has shown me that true love is a sanctuary,a place of peace and safety. He brings out the best in me and continuously encourages me to grow into the woman God has called me to be. He is the true definition of a partner and best friend, and I thank God for his life every day.
I am especially excited for this book because too often, our generation focuses on the wedding day rather than preparing for the marriage itself. As Christians, it’s essential that we shift our perspective and truly equip ourselves for the lifelong journey ahead. My hope is that this book sparks a movement,a sisterhood of brides-to-be and wives who are intentional about building Christ-centered marriages that reflect God’s glory.

Meet Julia Oppong Agyemang
I have the privilege to be one of the three authors of this prayer book. I’m beyond grateful to share my heart through this initiative. I’m a girl who loves Jesus and prayer—two things that have truly shaped my life. As a wife, I’ve learned that prayer is a tool I can’t live without. I was a 2023 bride, and this year, I’ll be celebrating two amazing years with my husband.
I’m so thankful for my God-given gift, Aaron. His love, kindness, and unwavering faith have shown me what it means to lead and love as a godly husband. He supports me in ways I never imagined, always pointing me back to Jesus. I love him deeply, not just for the man he is, but for the way he’s helped me journey through life and grow closer to God.
Lastly, I’m excited to use this book as a tool to fan the flame of prayer in my generation, encouraging others to pray for and into their marriages even before they get married. Prayer has transformed my relationship in all of its stages, from the getting to know one another, through engagement, and now marriage, and I know it can do the same for others!
